THE RETURN

IT HAS RETURNED!!!!
Yes, apologies for bringing the news a couple of weeks late, but CSI: Crime Scene Investigation has finally returned to the UK TV screen!!!
WHOOOOOOOP!!
*SEASON 12 SPOILERS, DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU*
Continuing from the explosive season 12 finale, the team returned to find DB's daughter, get Nick back, and see if Ecklie would survive his shooting.
I personally thought it was great to see the team again.

So yeah. Every Tuesday, Channel 5, 9pm GMT. If you're in the UK, you're a CSI fan and you don't watch it, I'm gonna judge you so hard.

I even made this post all colourful because I'm so happy about the return of one of my favourite shows!

Sincerest Apologies
So very sorry I haven't posted in ages, but I've been awfully busy with schoolwork. Mostly, science, as I chose Triple Science, and we have to go through 3 times as much work as people who took single science.
Seems fitting, seeing as I'm pursuing a future career in forensics, really.

Shocking News!!
So there's no more CSI: Miami any more. Pity, that was my second favourite out of the trio, right after CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. I don't know why, I've just never liked CSI: NY.

Epic Christmas Present!
And seeing as I'm in England, I've no idea how much longer I have to wait for CSI: LV to return to my TV screen. Aaw... I hope it's soon. It should be, shouldn't it? Seeing as it's already started in America, it should be soon.
It'd be an awesome free christmas present! Am I seriously the only person who thinks that?
But I think I read somewhere it starts in January, so basically its a birthday present for me. It'd be epic if it started on the 7th of January, even though that's a Monday, and it's traditionally on a Tuesday. Mostly because the 7th is my birthday, and it'd be an extra birthday present for me!
Can wait to see Greg and all the others again (But mostly Greg)!
But for now, re-runs on Five USA will have to do...

I swear I'll find the time to do it
I just realised I still haven't posted the pics of the CSI: Experience yet. Sorry! It's just I've been so busy lately. Stupid school...

I'll try and post more often, I swear. Maybe once every two weeks, I'll try clear a spot in my busy schedule. Or then any spare time I have, rare though it is these days.

CSI = The most watched TV SHOW IN THE WORLD!

Yes it's true. For the fifth time now, CSI has been voted the most watched show in the world.
How awesome is that? I really think they deserved it, because it's such an amazing show, and people should watch it.
It's changed the world, not necessarily in the most effective way, but there's a lot more people who want to be forensic investigators and criminalists now. (Including me.)

So well done, guys.

Season 12 Finale
Wasn't that an explosive episode?

*SPOILER ALERT* If you haven't seen it, do not read! unless you want to find out what happens and not watch it... (What's wrong with you?)

There was the return of that S.O.B who shot Warrick, the capture of Russell's granddaughter, and Ecklie got shot. Oh, and Nick decided to quit.

Despite the fact that I don't particularly care for Ecklie, I was quite upset he got shot, because he was just bonding with Morgan, and was getting his daughter back.

Also, I don't think Nick will quit, because on the wikipedia page for CSI season 13, it says notable characters include Nick Stokes, so... Think what you will, but that's my opinion.
(But then again, there's always the fact that you can't always trust everything wikipedia says. If that last sentence even made sense...)

Anyway, good job to the whole CSI team, I think it was a spectacular season finale, with loads of good cliff-hangers.

CSI: The Experience
Hey guys!!
Sorry it's been so long, have had a really rushed holiday!

But... I'm back, so now I can tell you all about my adventures!
On the 15th, I went to Florida for 10 days. The 2nd day we were there, I discovered that there was a CSI: Experience about 10 Iride stops down from my hotel. So, as a treat, I got to go there. (Not sure wether it was because my stepdad wanted to treat me, or if it was because I wouldn't stop complaining about it...)
Anyway, It was so cool! Totally worth $20 entry fee! You were given one of 3 crime scenes to solve, and you had to draw out the crime scenes! You were given a piece of paper at the start that you had to write evidence and clues on. You got to go around the labs, matching tyre prints, drug tests, dna samples, all that lot. It was so cool. And there was a morgue, where Doc Robbins explained how the people died and liver temps and stuff.
There were different boards explaining the different CSI stuff (so tired! no sleep! dodgy writing...) and there were explanations from actual forensic scientists AND members of the CSI cast.
Then you had to report your findings to Grissom and see how well you interpreted the evidence.
I also got a cool t-shirt!!!

More later,

Winner!
Sorry I haven't been on in a while :/
Anyway, the winners were;
Well it was kind of a four-way tie between
Greg Sanders
Sara Sidle
Doc Robbins
Nick Stokes.

so I guess they all win!

D.B. Russell (Portrayed by Ted Danson)

Russell's parents were itinerant folk musicians. He previously worked as a CSI in Seattle, Washington. He comes to Las Vegas as the new Night Shift Supervisor, since Catherine Willows and Nick Stokes were demoted as a result of Internal Affairs removing Ray Langston from the team. He is married to Barbara Russell, with a son Charlie who is a student and basketball player at Western Las Vegas University, and a daughter Maya who in turn has a daughter of her own Katelyn.

Russell first appears in the season 12 premiere as the new night shift supervisor, following Catherine's demotion.

Not a lot is known about Russell, except that d.b. may be short for "Diebenkorn" which appears on an envelope that is handed to him by Julie Finlay, the other new "temporary" member of the team.
