Gregory (Greg) Hojem-Sanders (portrayed by Eric Szmanda)
Greg is a member of the CSI team. (I did him first because he's my fave!)
He was first seen in the first ever episode, as a lab technician (working in DNA) and for the first 4 series, only appeared occasionally, where the team went to get DNA results from evidence.
Eric Szmanda's name was first added to the opening credits at the start of season 3.
Greg is a cheerful and optimistic individual, but listened to loud music like Marilyn Manson, which met the dissaproval of Gil Grissom, the (former) night shift supervisor. He also had an odd taste in clothing, favouring Hawaiian shirts and he changes his hairstyle and colour quite often.
Since season 2, it had become apparent that Greg dreamed of having a field job. He responded to an "all hands on deck" call in season 2, even though he hadn't been trained for field work. He had his final proficiency test in Episode One of Series Five. He failed it after using one of the toilets at the crime scene. Despite this, Grissom decide3d to give him another chance. This finally happens ten episodes later, in "Who shot Sherlock?", the episode ending shortly after Grissom tells Greg he has passed his final proficiency and is a level one CSI. (Well done Greg!)
Since then, his dress sense has toned down a little, but he still changes his hair occasionally. He's grown a lot since the first CSI.
He's friends with most of the CSI team, excepting Hodges, with whom he has a friendly rival sort of relationship. He doesn't hide his crush on Sara, a fellow CSI, and has nothing but respect for Grissom. He and Nick have a brotherly relationship, as did Greg and Warick. Greg was visibly upset at Warick's death.
Greg is half Norwegian, and fondly refers to his grandparents and his mother, although he only mentions his father once.
"It should also be noted that during the series, Greg is involved in a number of explosions. These include explosions in "Play With Fire", which hospitalizes Sanders, "Say Uncle" in which he and Detective Cavalier are involed in a trip wire explosion in a house, and "Shock Waves" in which Greg saves Detectives Vartann's life resulting in him getting a few cuts in turn when a crime scene is rigged with explosives." - Wikipedia.

So, if you could help me with any more info on Greg, or any of the other characters, email me at csiinfoblog@gmail.com :) thanks
